Guide RNAs whose editing window carries the base you want to change

A base editor does not cut — it converts one base into another inside a narrow window a fixed distance from the PAM. That makes guide selection a different question from nuclease work: a guide is only useful if the base you want to change actually falls inside that window. BE-Designer takes a target sequence and an editor, finds every protospacer whose window carries the base that editor converts, and discards the rest.
